Oncologist
A doctor who specialises in treating cancer. A clinical oncologist, or radiotherapist, specialises in treating cancer with radiation (radiotherapy), and a medical oncologist specialises in treating cancer with drugs (chemotherapy).

Oncology
Study of the development, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer.

Orally
Given by mouth.

Orthopaedics
The study and treatment of bones and muscles.

Overall survival
The total amount of time that a patient survives following treatment, including relapses that were successfully retreated. See Event-free survival.
